The Gift of Listening…
But you must REALLY listen. No interrupting, no daydreaming, no planning your response, just listening.
The Gift of Affection…
Be generous with appropriate hugs, kisses, pats on the back and handholds. Let these small actions demonstrate the love you have for family and friends.
The Gift of Laughter…
Clip cartoons. Share articles and funny stories. Your gift will say, “I love to laugh with you.”
The Gifts of a Written Note…
It can be a simple “Thanks for the help” note or a full sonnet. A brief, hand-written note may be remembered for a lifetime, and may even change a life.
The Gift of a Compliment…
A simple and sincere, “You look great in red,” “You did a super job” or “That was a wonderful meal” can make someone’s day.
The Gift of a Favor…
Every day, go out of your way to do something kind.
The Gift of Solitude…
There are times when we want nothing better than to be left alone. Be sensitive to those times and give the gift of solitude to others.
The Gift of a Cheerful Disposition…
The easiest way to feel good is to extend a kind word to someone, really it’s not that hard to say, “Hello” or “Thank you.”

The Inns & Spa at Mill Falls is Offering Something Different
Posted on July 22nd, 2009 No comments
New Cottage
If you’re looking for a place to stay for you and your family that offers a somewhat different experience than one of the Inns’ more traditional hotel rooms, but would still like all the great services and amenities provided by the Inns, look no further. The Inns are now offering a quaint little cottage for just that purpose. It’s right across the street from Lake Winnipesaukee, only a stone’s throw away from Church Landing, and a short walk to downtown Meredith.
Although I have not personally spent a night in the cottage, I can certainly imagine myself doing so. From every room in the cottage, one can look out onto a spectacular view of Lake Winnipesaukee. The large windows also allow for copious light to brighten up your day!
Occupying two floors with over 1000 square feet of living space, there are three bedrooms – two with queen beds and one with bunk beds for the kids – and two full baths. There is a spacious living room with a large fireplace to warm your nights, and a well-equipped full kitchen. As with any guest room in the hotel, the cottage is tied into all the Inns’ services, including phone, complimentary WIFI, continental breakfast, pool, beach, fitness center, and much more.
Try something new at The Inns and Spa at Mill Falls. The rates start at $439 per night for up to 4 people, with $20.00 per additional person during Spirited Season, and just $389 per night during Serenity Season. A ten percent discount is offered for stays of over five nights, as well as a twenty percent discount for seven nights or more. Call the Inns for more information: (603) 279-7006.
