Looking for some good old-fashioned Halloween fun?  Bring the family to the Remick Museum in Tamworth, NH this Saturday, October 23 for their Harvest Halloween Festival, where there will be activities galore for kids and adults alike.  With all the games, concessions, and contests, this festival is more like a mini fair packed into an autumn afternoon!Hay Bale Jumping

From 3:00 to 7:00pm, the grounds of the Remick County Doctor Museum & Farm will be open and set up with a corn maze, live music, and a spooky horse-drawn wagon ride.  Children can also participate in lots of games and races, including Ring the Pumpkin, Needle in a Haystack, Hay Bale Jump, and the sack, egg, or hoop race.  There will also be fun crafts, where kids can make Halloween masks!

Judges will be on hand for contests in homemade pies and preserves, scary stories, and autumn art.  Winners in adults and children’s categories will be announced at the festival as well as to local newspapers, will appear in the next Remick Farm Journal Newsletter and website, and will enjoy a family membership at the museum for one year!

In the evening, take a guided eerie walking tour to meet friendly spirits and hear spooky tales, then warm up with some hot cocoa around the Bonfire as the storytelling continues.

Going to the Remick Museum’s Harvest Halloween festival is a perfect way for your family soak up some traditional New England customs while enjoying the hallowed season this year.
