13 Nov Escape to the Lake for Cascade Spa’s 10th Annual “Spalidays” Celebration
Perfectly timed to provide a relaxing indulgence between Thanksgiving and the busiest shopping season of the year, this full-service spa and salon on Lake Winnipesaukee will be throwing a big party to celebrate “all that is spa” along with ten years of “Spalidays,” and you’re invited!
Cascade Spa at Mill Falls will be hosting its Silver Jubilee “Spalidays” on Wednesday, December 2nd and Thursday, December 3rd, 2015. The Spalidays open house will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 7:30pm in the Winnipesaukee Ballroom. Guests who stay overnight at Mill Falls at the Lake can also attend the annual Spalidays Spa Talk Luncheon on Thursday.
Spalidays showcases the wonderful products, services, and professional staff offered at Cascade Spa. At the open house, guests will enjoy complimentary mini spa services, such as chair and hand massages and mini makeovers, discounts on spa products and gift cards, “Swag Bags,” live music, and hors d’oeuvres by Lakehouse Grille. Guests can meet experts in the health, wellness, and beauty industry, and learn about new lines and brands.
Martha Zyla, Director of Cascade Spa, is very excited to be hosting this special 10th Anniversary Spalidays. She said the event has grown over the years, not only in terms of how many people attend, but also in terms of the vision she has for the spa community. The first Spalidays was an intimate gathering for clients in one of the smaller meeting rooms at Church Landing. The following years, in hopes to reach more people in the community, Martha moved the event to the Winnipesaukee Ballroom and invited spa industry experts from around the country. “I wanted the event to provide a way to educate clients on who we are, as well as to introduce the founders of the product lines that we carry,” she said. “It is very important to me to offer products that are free of animal testing or animal ingredients, that use clean energy in production, and that give back to the community. They also need to be the finest products, those that actually benefit clients.”
“Spalidays additionally allows me to share my vision, passion, and belief of the health and wellness aspect of the spa industry, not only at the event, but the next day at our Spa Talk Luncheon,” said Zyla. “Owners, founders, and brand managers come from all four corners of the country and Canada to share their expertise throughout these two exciting days!”
This year’s guest speaker at the Spa Talk Luncheon will be Jill Dunk, co-founder of Mio and Mama Mio Skincare. Jill’s roots are in the beauty industry, working the past 27 years developing and building brands. Ten years ago while working on a beauty project in the UK, she met three women with whom she quickly became fast friends and business partners. Together they created two amazing brands that focused on their own personal needs and wants. “We are proud to provide women around the world with products that make them feel good in their skin, products that do what they say they’re going to do, and to make the most efficacious products we can make with no nasty ingredients!”
Tickets to the Spalidays Open House on December 2nd are $20 per person and can be reserved at Cascade Spa by calling 603-677-8620. The Spalidays Lake Escape Package includes accommodations at Mill Falls the night of December 2nd, access to an exclusive BABOR reception from 3–5 pm, tickets to the Spalidays Holiday Open House, 15% off Cascade Spa Services booked on December 2nd & 3rd, and the Spalidays Luncheon on December 3rd. Please call Mill Falls at the Lake for rates and reservations at 800-622-6455. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to a local organization with a focus on health and wellness.
“Spalidays is a lovely holiday event,” said Zyla. “I look forward to welcoming many guests from the Lakes Region and beyond as we celebrate “all that is Spa” at this Silver Jubilee Holiday Celebration!”
