Steven Tyler will headline the first-ever LaconiaFest

First Ever LaconiaFest Coming to Motorcycle Week

What do you get when you combine a classic drive-in movie theater with a legendary motorcycle rally at the hands of a group of music producers? In the Lakes Region of NH, this mix will create the much anticipated music festival called LaconiaFest, which will debut during Laconia Motorcycle Week this summer!

The LaconiaFest Motorcycle Music Festival will take place Saturday June 11 – Sunday June 19 in beautiful Laconia, NH, at the Weirs Beach Drive-In on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee. The festival is touted as “Nine Days of Music, Beer and Great Times,” and promises to be one of the most dynamic music festivals in New England. The event will bring together bikers, rock, and country music for the biggest party Weirs Beach has ever seen! Two music stages will showcase the best of Rock and Country music with the biggest names in the industry and many of New England’s most talented acts.

“Motorcycles, rock, and country have always gone together,” says managing partner Tyler Glover of LaconiaFest, “but we wanted to take it a step further and bring headliners that will really elevate the Rally.”

LaconiaFest recently announced that Steven Tyler from Aerosmith will be the top headliner at the festival. The lineup also includes Brett Michaels, Warrant, Lita Ford, Ted Nugent, Buckcherry, Sevendust, Laura Comfort, Milow the Girl, and many others. There will be over 100 rock and country bands during the 9-day event.

LaconiaFest is a music festival truly crafted for the motorcycle culture and audience. In addition to the music lineup, attendees will be able to enjoy festival amenities and comfortable spaces in which to hang out and relax after a long day on the road. The daily schedule will feature amazing attractions, including X-Games pro Keith Sayer’s Freestyle Motocross, which will be performing high-flying ramp-to-ramp stunts daily. Folks can also enjoy a Zip Line experience, play paint ball war games, and watch world-class bike builders.

Festival Village will consist of a blend of local, iconic, and modern festivities and will showcase local food, beer, wine, other beverages, and motorcycle art.

For attendees who want the ultimate concert experience, LaconiaFest is offering a VIP package, which will consist of premium festival space with the best positioning to the main stage and the closest one can get to all the action. VIPs will have next level festival status that will include private bars, luxury facilities, private enclosures, fast-track entry, premium food and beverage options, and other perks.

This is the first festival to be held in conjunction with the iconic Laconia Motorcycle Week, which has been held for the past 93 years. Laconia Motorcycle Week is a rich environment with a picturesque setting that offers some of the most beautiful rides in the country.

“We felt this was the natural place to create a music festival,” says Glover. “The area is so scenic and the Weirs Drive-In is the perfect outdoor setting that’s ground zero to the rally.”

“Attendance is expected [at] 5,000-12,000 daily with up to 30,000 when the headliner bands perform,” says Karmen Gifford, President of the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce. “It will certainly bring a new element to Motorcycle Week.”

The LaconiaFest stage will open daily at noon and close at 1am. Access to LaconiaFest is by ticket only, and tickets are on sale now at www.laconiafest.com and www.ticketgalaxy.com.

Music festivals are known for bringing people together and exposing a wide range of musicians, jam sessions, and outdoor fun, but add the ingredient of motorcycle enthusiasts and LaconiaFest seems to be a match made in heaven!
