Two Great Venues for Summer Concerts in the Lakes Region

Summer is finally upon us, and with several famous artists lined up to play at two of the premier stages in New Hampshire, concert season is shaping up to be a great one in the Lakes Region! The Flying Monkey and Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion (formerly Meadowbrook) have booked some big names this year, and their summer concert schedules are solid!

The Flying Monkey Movie House & Performance Center in Plymouth has been hosting fabulous performing artists year-round since 2010, and it seems the shows keep getting better and better! “The Monkey” features several movie series, well-known comedy acts, community theater productions, and nationally and internationally recognized bands and solo artists. This weekend, the Flying Monkey is hosting Classic Rock Flashback, featuring Mad Co, a Bad Company tribute band. Throughout the summer, Hot Tuna, Dr. John, Martin Sexton, Rickie Lee Jones, and Delbert McClinton, among others, will grace the stage at the Monkey.
